23 year old Tanya Bearden turned herself in this afternoon. She faces charges of theft, identity theft, and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. The case involves a Medford resident who reported that someone had broken into her vehicle and had stolen her purse with her electronic benefit transaction card, among other things. That same day, two females used the EBT food stamp card at a nearby convenience market. The other suspect in the case has been identified and the investigation continues tonight.
