Klamath Falls man accused of molesting 11-year-old girl

Klamath Falls, Ore. — A Klamath Falls man is in jail tonight after being accused of molesting an 11-year-old girl.

26-year-old Alexis Marin-Garrido was arrested Monday afternoon on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and sexual misconduct.

The girl told her mother about the alleged abuse on Sunday, the mother then notified authorities.

First degree sexual abuse is a Measure 11 crime, carrying a mandatory sentence of over 6 years in prison.
