Klamath Falls man aggravated murder charges dismissed

02.01 ADCOCK DISMISSEDKlamath Falls, Ore. — The case of a Klamath Falls man charged with aggravated murder has been dismissed due to insufficient evidence.

The Klamath County District Attorney and the Oregon Department of Justice came to the decision after reviewing the case of Troy Adcock. Adcock was accused of shooting and killing bartender Doug Nelson.

The shooting happened at the Summer’s Lane Tavern in September of 2009. The investigation is ongoing and if additional evidence is found, the case could be refiled.
