Klamath Falls Man Dead After A Motel Shooting

Tonight one man is dead and the Klamath County Major Crime Team has been activated. The shooting took place shortly after 9:00 Saturday night at the Vagabond Motel on South Sixth Street. The victim has been identified as 47 year old Lee Roy Myers of Klamath Falls.

“It was a firearm-related death, and we’re putting the pieces together now. This just occurred late last night, and we’re putting the pieces together, so we have a pending investigation,” said Rob Patridge.

Activation of the major crime team does not necessarily mean that a crime has been committed. The activation does allow for resources from multiple agencies to be used in the death investigation.
