Despite getting nearly 6 inches of snow Wednesday, it was ‘business as usual’ today in klamath falls. About the only ‘hiccup’ in the day was a one-hour delay for the start of city schools.
Dr. Paul Hillyer, the Klamath Falls City schoolsuperintendent says the delay was due to conditions on side streets. “We didn’t want any buses getting stuck, or getting trapped in a street until they had been plowed out – so we just cancelled for an extra hour to give the city time to do their job.”
Snow turned to drizzle due to warmer temperatures early this morning. Police warn that roads could get icy once the sun goes down.
