Local residents attend healthcare forum

Ore. — The future of Oregons healthcare system for seniors and the disabled.

That was the topic at a public forum at the Jackson County Library this afternoon, employees from the Oregon Department of Human Services are traveling across the state as part of Senate Bill 21, that requires them to speak with Oregonians on how to improve the long term care system.

DHS employees are taking ideas back to the legislator to be incorporated into the senate bill
