Myrtle Creek, Ore. — Douglas County sheriffs office says they found a man lying along the roadway and believe he is a victim of assault.
He was found along the 600 block of Old Pacific Highway in Myrtle Creek, the sheriff’s office says Dylan Miars’ had a laceration to the back of his head and was transported to the hospital.
Miars is currently in a coma and has a significant skull fracture and swelling to his brain. Miars is a transient living in the Myrtle Creek area.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the injury to Miars as a felony assault.
