McAloon Arrested Again

Just this weekend Katherine McAloon arrested again.

She is the woman accused of furnishing alcohol and drugs to minors at a party where 14 year old Ashley Long died after inhaling helium.

Lt. Mike Budreau tells us, “She was arrested for possible dui, and that was on the morning of the 17 around 1 am.”

After failing a sobriety test officers took McAloon to the Jackson County Jail.

“This is now her third brush with the law and she’s certainly making some poor choices,” Budreau said.

The choice that’s garnered national attention—McAloon hosted a party on February 18th, where she’s charged with giving teenagers alcohol and marijuana. 14 year old ashley long died after inhaling helium..at the party.

McAloon has not been charged in the girls death—only furnishing alcohol and marijuana to the kids.

“On a legal basis we cannot present this weekends case and relate it to the Ashley Long case. She hasn’t been convicted of anything so she is innocent until proven guilty. Each case will be evaluated on its own merit or basis.”

Still anyway the law chooses to look at it this has been a bad year for Katherine McAloon—in January she was also charged with identity theft…making her latest DUII the third run in with the law in three months.

But she’s free right now…the 27 year old has once again bailed out.

So far this year, McAloon has been charged almost 8 thousand dollars in bail.

Now Assistant District Attorney Heckert did tell us that while Katherine McAloon’s arraignment in the furnishing case where Ashley long died was scheduled for tomorrow, it has now been pushed back to an undetermined date for toxicology reports to come in.
