Medford woman receives sentence following fatal crash that killed her sister

PRMedford, Ore. — A Medford woman pleaded guilty to two charges after a crash killed her sister back in July and has received her sentence.

The Jackson County DA’s office says Priscilla Rose pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and DUII.

Rose will spend five years in prison with three years of post-prison supervision. Her driver’s license was also revoked permanently.

Oregon State Police say Rose was driving too fast on I-5 and lost control, colliding head on with a guardrail.

Her sister, 46-year-old Medford woman Debbra Lynn Mauldin, was pronounced dead at the scene. Tests showed Rose’s blood alcohol content at .25.
