MFR flight makes emergency landing in Eugene

Medford, Ore.– Thursday an Alaska Airlines flight from Portland coming into the Rogue Valley International Medford Airport had to make an emergency landing in Eugene.

Alaska Airlines officials said flight 2097 was supposed to land at 6:38p.m. but when the cabin lost pressure it had to make that emergency landing. All 61 passengers on board made it to the Medford airport safely at 9:30 p.m.

Alaska Airlines also said it is not uncommon for planes to use pressure. And that they take every precaution in these situations.
