Mt. Ashland to have delayed opening on Monday

Mt. AshlandAshland, Ore. — Skiers and snowboarders rejoice! Mt. Ashland officials say they will have a delayed opening on Monday.

Officials say the road has been plowed but it narrow and requires extreme caution and four wheel drive is recommended. Chains are required.

The upper trails on the mountain are closed to all ski traffic including uphill travelers. Mountain officials are asking ski goers to not go outside ski patrol ropes or boundaries.
