Medford, Ore. — A new addiction recovery center is opening in Medford in September.
The 2,000 square foot, eight-bed center located in the Jackson County sobering unit on Front Street, will cost $325,000 to open.
Grants, public, and private donations funded the opening.
The communications coordinator at Addictions Recovery Center says the sobering unit should be self-sustaining after its first year of operation.
ARC is still looking for nurses and other specialists to man the facility.
