Medford is getting a new baseball team…set to start play at Harry and David field next summer.
The Southern Oregon River Dawgs will be gone, but this new team, playing at a higher level of competition, will take their place.
This new team will play in the west coast league…which features mainly division one college players and provides the kind of structured play, the River Dawgs never could reach independently.
