New wolf spotted in Southern Oregon

Keno, Ore. — OR-7 gets company; another adult wolf has been spotted in Southern Oregon.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has documented new wolf activity in the Southwest Keno unit, which is in the Southwest Cascades; it’s an area that OR-7 and the Rogue Pack use, but data shows that they have not used it recently.

ODFW says they don’t know much about this new wolf just yet, but are working to gather more information.
