36-year-old Nike executive James Speidel is facing murder and other charges after officials say he attempted to blow up his Oregon home and kill his family.
The man is accused of cutting a natural gas line to a barbecue at their home, then pointing the line under the house, filling the crawl space with gas.
He made a court appearance in Washington County Wednesday and remains in jail this morning.
