Update (12/24 4:45pm): Deputies are investigating the death of a man reported missing in Brookings.
The Curry County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Miguel Bernardino Gonzalez was reported missing by his employer Miss Emily last week.
Wednesday, a detective found a body in the water in the Port of Brookings Harbor that turned out to be Gonzalez.
Next of kin was notified. There is no indication of foul play.
Brookings, Ore — Deputies are asking for help searching for a missing Curry County man.
The Curry County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Miguel Bernardino Gonzalez was reported missing by his employer Miss Emily, a Brookings harbor.
Deputies say Gonzalez was last seen Sunday night when he was dropped off in the Port of Harbor.
Before that deputies say Gonzalez was socializing with friends.
There is no indication of foul play. If you have any information, please call police.
