Oregon, 6 Other States Suing EPA

Oregon is joining six other states, filing a federal lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency.

Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum made the announcement on Wednesday.

The lawsuit alleges the EPA has, “failed to to adequately limit air pollution emissions from new residential woodstoves and heaters.”

It suggests the existing limits are outdated, and requests stricter pollution standards for new woodstoves.
