Medford, Ore. — Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber has ordered all flags at public institutions to be flown at half-staff this Saturday.
The order is in recognition of fallen firefighter Matthew Goodnature of Phoenix, Oregon. The 21 year old was taking a break from fighting the launch fire near Fourmile Lake when he fell off of a large rock and died from his injuries. A memorial service for Goodnature will be held on Saturday.
