Oregon has some of the least immature men in U.S.

Ore. — Despite a reputation to the contrary, Oregon has some of the most mature men in the country, according to a new study.

The real estate site Estately found that Oregon is the seventh most mature state in the nation, based on a few criteria.

The goal of the study was to explore the “growing number of men basking in a prolonged state of adolescent immaturity,” instead of marrying and moving out of their parents’ basements.

The study’s barometer for maturity included unemployment levels, porn downloads per capita, and how much guys write on Facebook about beer pong, fantasy football, the TV show Family Guy and video games.

It did not, however, include statistics of men who have a history of being a drummer in a failed band, frequent Tinder usage, and proclivity for summer scarves.

Rhode Island by far had the highest percentage of immature men, followed closely by Delaware and Illinois. The study called those states out for being full of “man-sized children” and “man babies.”
