OSF Gets A New Modular Stage For The Green Show At The Bricks

Oregon Shakespeare Festival performers will debut on a new stage when they return to the Green Show this May.

The old Green Show stage was removed after the 2013 season and the new stage, which cost about $16-thousand, has arrived and is in storage.

The new stage is modular, allowing for different configurations and easy storage and will likely be set up in the courtyard in time for the June 3rd kick-off of the Green Show.

The Green Show traditionally launches when OSF begins offering plays in its outdoor Allen Elizabethan Theatre. The 2014 OSF season begins on Feb. 14 with a performance in the indoor Angus Bowmer Theatre. Performances will start in the intimate indoor Thomas Theatre on Feb. 20.
