Phoenix, Ore. — The Phoenix football team is playing on, despite the loss of a beloved coach.
Stan Gida died Tuesday after suffering a stroke. Gida also coached for Ashland High School and according to his Facebook page, a number of schools in other states as well.
He leaves behind a family, many colleagues and friends.
