Portland, Ore. — Portland is staying weird and here’s proof:
Two pink chickens, one rooster and one hen, made their way to the city’s waterfront Thursday, March 26th.
A county animal control officer came out to collect them and bring them to their shelter to keep them from getting hit by a car.
Multnomah County says they were dyed, probably by food coloring.
Aside from the alternative hue, the chickens appear to be in good health and well-cared for.
