Rogue Valley residents canvas for Bernie Sanders

Ashland, Ore. — Bernie Sanders supporters hit the streets in the Rogue Valley today for the candidate.

Sarah Spansail and her two young sons went door to door in Ashland to encourage residents to vote. They hit 60 homes this morning before breaking for lunch then heading back out this afternoon.

“We are very passionate about Bernie,” Spansail said. “For me, I feel like it’s their future and we are excited about a candidate who’s funded by the people instead of by corporations and Wall Street and big money.”

Bernie supporters were also out canvassing neighborhoods in Medford and White City. Sanders is the only presidential candidate to open an office in the Rogue Valley.
