Run benefits Hearts with a Mission, local homeless youth

HEARTS WITH A MISSION RUN PICCENTRAL POINT, Ore. —  Superheros took to the Bear Creek bike path Saturday, running for a cause. The Allcare Health Homeless-2-Hopeful benefit run took place at the Expo. The event is benefiting Hearts with a Mission, and local homeless youth in the Rogue Valley.

Over 150 runners participated in either the Hearts and Heroes 1 mile fun run, or the timed 5K and 10K runs. Organizers say the community support is overwhelming.

“It really lets us know at Hearts with a Mission, that our mission is out there, people do see that, and the fact that the folks out here running are people that support that mission,” Jim Williams said, Board President of the organization.

All of the proceeds go to Hearts with a Mission.
