Gold Beach, Ore. – A small single-engine plane flipped onto it’s back at Gold Beach’s airport late this morning.
James Clemens, Port of Gold Beach and Airport Manager, says that shortly after landing around 11:00 Monday morning, a Cessna 175 hit a perimeter fence and the landing gear got stuck, flipping the plane over.
Two Crescent City men were in the plane at the time, they suffered only minor bumps and bruises.
