Southern Oregon Rings In New Year

Ringing in the new year can mean bringing out the big bucks but in Medford many partiers say it’s worth it.

Four Daughters Irish Pub is one place this New Years Eve without a cover, but bartenders say it works in their favor “It brings more people in. Gives a wider variety, instead of people having to pay every place they go” says Tasha Sawall.

Instead Four Daughters hopes people will pay at the bar and last year they did. They say they raked in a whopping $17,000 bucks. $2,000 in just one hour. They say it’s the biggest party in town.

A party night, but also time to reflect and work on new years resolutions “Our new years resolution is to work out five days a week” said Helen Weber and

Mark Vevera said “To quite smoking.”

As Southern Oregon says goodbye to 2013 and hello 2014.
