Starbucks set to close for diversity training Tuesday

SEATTLE, Wash. (CNN) – Starbucks stores across the country will close Tuesday afternoon for company-wide diversity training.

The coffee giant will train over 175,000 employees to better identify and prevent prejudices and bias.

This comes after two black men were arrested in a Philadelphia store for using the bathroom back in April.

Starbucks also says the techniques their employees learn will be used to train new hires in the future.
