Grants Pass, Ore. — The Oregon State Fire Marshal is investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed a car belonging to the Three Rivers School District.
Around 8:30 Friday night, Rural Metro Fire crews were called to Jerome Prairie Elementary School in Grants Pass.
Firefighters found a car about 20 feet from school buildings, completely engulfed in flames.Authorities say suspicious evidence was found nearby, and an investigation is underway.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
