Cottage Grove, Ore. — A state wide manhunt is underway for a man suspected of robbing 3 banks along the I-5 corridor this past week.
The latest robbery happened Friday in Cottage Groveat a Wells Fargo Bank branch inside a Safewaystore.
Police suspect the robber is also responsible for bank robberies in Salem on Eugene, both of those robberies occured on Thursday.
According to investigators in all cases, he approached the teller, demanded cash, and received an undisclosed amount of money and left.
He is described as a white man in his late 30’s to mid 40’s, weighing about 200 pounds and is between 6′ and 6’2”.
