Talent medical marijuana dispensary says business is growing

Talent, Ore. — Months after opening to the public, local medical marijuana dispensaries are getting a clearer picture of their new industry.

Green Valley Wellness in Talent says business has been growing steadily as people become more educated about medical marijuana.

The business started selling medicinal cannabis in June and operators say they faced many legal challenges on both the state and local level. But now that the laws are more clear, they say business has been good.

“We’re concerned with making sure the people that come to us get the best quality medicine that they can get, but we’re also the face of a new industry and we take that roll equally as serious, said business owner Peter Gross.

Green Valley Wellness says the Talent community has also been supportive of their business and that many of their new customers find out about the dispensary through word of mouth.
