Trail, Ore.– 23-year-old Casey Mock is on $1,000,000 bail. He is one of three others that crashed and rolled over in a single cab pick up truck Thursday afternoon.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says two people were in the front and two were in the back of the truck.
It happened near the 4400 block of West Fork Trail Creek Road.
17-year-old Brianna St Arnold was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and later died.One neighbor in the rural area says she’s seen one too many tragic accidents on her street.
“We do have people come up here and party. They generally drive pretty fast they run off the road a lot and come down and ask for help,” said Betty O’Brian.
The two other people were uninjured.S.T.A.R, a team of several different lawenforcementagencies worked to reconstruct the scene.The actual cause of the accident is still under investigation. But a Captain said speed may have played a role in the accident.
Mock is facing manslaughter in the second degree, criminal negligent homicide and other charges.
