‘The Pint Rider’ coming soon to Downtown Medford

PINT RIDER 4Medford, Ore. — One Medford man is bringing a bar on a bike to the Rogue Valley, just in time for Summer.

Nathan Olsen said last year, he was the designated driver for friends on a wine tour, and wanted to bring something similar to Medford. He says that’s how he came up with the pint rider.

“Basically you can go to any stops that you want,” Olsen said. “So you don’t have to go to breweries, you don’t have to go to bars, you’re using it for two hours, you can do whatever you want on it, from progressive dinner tours, to shopping tours, to coffee tours, it doesn’t matter.”

The bike holds 10-15 people, and has pedals for each rider. There will be someone to steer the bike to each destination, during the two hour tour. Olsen expects the tours to begin during the first week of June– which is Medford Beer Week.
