According to the Oregon State Police, Super Sunday has been a dangerous day on the roads.
Last year two deaths were attributed to drunk driving and officers say they made 59 DUI arrests.
That number is up 36 from the 2008 Super Bowl.
Trooper Bill Matson with the Oregon State Police said “The super bowl is bad because it starts at 3:20 and so people get there and start drinking at one…your just talking about a lot more people.”
Trooper Matson advises anyone going to a party, to plan his or her ride home, before they start to drink.
