Medford, Ore. –Beer lovers wrapped up Medford Beer Week Saturday with the fifth annual Southern Oregon Craft Brew Festival.
Twenty-seven local and regional breweries set up downtown to give people a taste of what organizers said is a way we can attract more visitors to Southern Oregon.
“It really brings people into the recognition that what we’re doing in Southern Oregon is valuable, that we’ve got craft breweries and we’ve got restaurants and bars in this area that are doing amazing stuff,” Chris Dennett said.
Organizers said about 2,500 people came out to the festival this year.Along with giving them a chance to sample more than 50 beers, it also gives breweries a chance to connect with customers.
