‘Toys for Tots’ is underway in Klamath Falls

Klamath Falls, Ore. — The annual Toys for Tots drive is underway in Klamath Falls and organizers say demand is up this year.

There have been over 700 requests for toys since sign-ups began just a week ago, organizers say the heaviest demand is for gifts for young teens.

“The teen girls and boys, they’re asking for makeup, cologne, mp3 players, stuff like that, here’s also a lot of requests for items from the movie ‘frozen’, and teenage mutant ninja turtles.

Toys for Tots provided gifts for over 1,600 kids last year, the group will be taking requests through the 15th, they’re located at the Baptist church in the 700 block of High Street.
