Twerking leads to drug arrests in Beaverton

Beaverton, Ore. — (KGW) Three women were arrested for drug possession after an impromptu dance party in the Beaverton City Hall parking lot.

Police said 20-year-old Christie Valazquez Coura (pictured, center) went to municipal court with two friends Monday afternoon to pay a fine. The show began as they left the building.

Police said Valazquez and 20-year-old Brittany Medak (pictured, left) exposed themselves while twerking in the parking lot, and 22-year-old Leokham Yothsombath filmed the moves, said Beaverton police spokesman Officer Mike Rowe.

“Medak then lifted her skirt and urinated between two cars,” Rowe said. “This was all witnessed by several court employees.”

The women drove away, but were stopped nearby. Police found prescription drugs, meth, cocaine and marijuana in their possession and arrested all three women, Rowe said.
