Two hospitalized after car backs into doctor's office

Medford, Ore. — Two people were sent to the hospital today after a car backed into a Medford doctor’s office.

Medford firefighters said the accident happened at 11:05 Wednesday morning. The elderly driver backed into the entryway of Pain Specialists of Southern Oregon on Bennett Ave.

Firefighters said the elderly driver hit one victim outside before hitting the building and injuring another person inside.

Police said the driver will not be ticketed because the accident was on private property. But the man may be subject to a DMV retest.
