Two Injured in West Medford Stabbing Sunday Night

Medford Police say two people are behind bars Monday morning, after a stabbing late Sunday night. Police arrested Whitney Grant and Nathan Ramirez, following a domestic disturbance call.

Officials say the two were arguing in the middle of the street near Oakdale and 5th, when a car drove up.

Police say two passengers from that car tried to break up the dispute, when Ramirez began attacking them with a longboard. Officials say Grant then stabbed one of the victims, injuring them in the hand and arm. They were not taken to the hospital.

Grant also received cuts to her hands. She is facing charges of assault two, and Ramirez faces two counts of attempted assault three.

The investigation will continue Monday morning.
