Merlin, Ore. —One person is in custody and the victim is being treated at a hospital following a shooting last night near Merlin.
51 year old David Edward Miller was arrested and charged with shooting 27 year Joshua Morrison at a residence on Pleasant Road north of Merlin.
Morrison was sitting outside the house when officers arrived. He was taken to RRMC in Medford and is now reportedly in stable condition.
Also arrested was Morrison’s girlfriend 24 year old Haley Jordan Kirby. She reportedly had warrants out of Floyd County, Georgia.
Miller is in the Josephine County Jail facing charges of Assault, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Methamphetamine.
