Uber drivers say business is up

Medford, Ore. — Uber drivers who have been on the road for more than two months now say business is picking up.

Driver David Blees has been driving since December 2nd, a day after ride sharing was allowed in Medford. He says more people are getting the app and looking for rides. According to Blees, some people even use the service to get to and from work everyday.

“It’s definitely picked up, there are more riders all the time, and more drivers all the time too,” Blees said. “On a typical day i had i think ten rides, and at least four of those were first time riders.”

Blees says rides vary in length; some are down the road, others take them to different counties, and even different states.
