Unanswered Questions In Homicide Investigation

Investigators are not saying how 62 year old Frank Damanio died, just that he’s the victim of a homicide.

Deputies found his body inside his mobile homeThursday, just north of Ashland.

Friends knew him as Tony Dellapenna.

Which is just one part of what’s now becoming a painful mystery for those who knew him.

Friends and neighbors say he was a man everyone wanted to know.

But who killed him and why–even who he really was–a troubling mystery.

Asmall memorial of flowers sits outside his home.

“This is a big loss and sometimes it’s hard to understand why these things happen,” said a friend only identified as Ginger.

“I can’t imagine how anybody would raise an ill-hand to him he was so kind,” said one neighbor.

It’s unclear why he went by two different names.

We searched public records and found no criminal record of either name.

He was an active member of the community singing in the Gay Men’s Chorus and Rogue Valley Peace Choir.

His Linkedin profile page say he was the CEO of Tony’s Healing Touch andalso worked for Kay Jewelers for 20 years until 2001 in California.

While there are more questions than answers at this point, friend’s hope that answers and justice will soon be found.

Investigators will not release any further details of the investigation at this point.

But if you have any information regarding this case you are asked to call them.
