Veteran OSF actor arrested on sex abuse charges

ASHLAND, ORE. — Veteran actor Tyrone Wilson has been with OSF for nearly 19 seasons. He was arrested this past week on charges of rape and sodomy.

Ashland police say in November of 2013, Wilson and an unidentified adult female had a consensual sexual relationship, which at one point turned into an unwanted act.

Now the veteran stage actor faces three counts of first-degree sex abuse and two counts of first-degree sodomy.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival had no comment on Wilson’s arrest.

They do say Wilson is set to star in the upcoming production of ‘Comedy of Errors’ and they are currently looking for an interim replacement.

Meanwhile, Wilson’s bail has been set at one million dollars.
