Josephine County, Ore. — A Washington state man is arrested in Josephine County after investigators say he raped a 13 year-old girl.
Oregon State Police say 22 year-old Shawn Allen Ware, of Chehalis, Washington, was staying with relatives in Josephine County and began texting with the girl last month.
Trooper say Ware picked the girl up, bought alcohol, then had sexual contact with her.
He’s facing a number of charges including rape and sex abuse.
