Police say, 33 year old Josh Lee forced his wife into his car and took off.
During that time he stopped the car and the woman was able to get away.
She then jumped into another car that had stopped to break up the altercation.
Allison Giannini of Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Dept said “That person drug the guy about two miles to a gas station and was hit with a PVC pipe, she was taken to the hospital with minor stab wounds and released.”
Lee, was recently released from the California Department of Corrections in January and is now being considering armed and dangerous.
