Medford, Ore. — A Medford man accused of shooting and killing another man in his backyard in May will spend more than 6 years behind bars.
The Jackson County District Attorney’s Office says 23-year-old Vincent DiCostanzo pleaded guilty to manslaughter and weapons charges on Thursday.
Medford Police say DiCostanzo shot 34-year-old Luke Barmes while attempting to sell or trade him a handgun.
Police say the shooting was not intentional. DiCostanzo will spend 75 months in prison.
