Medford, Ore. — The Medford Police officer involved in a crash downtown last week will be cited.
According to Oregon State Police, Medford Officer Andrew Gault was responding to the deadly high speed chase on August 7th when he crashed into a car driven by 25-year-old Medford resident Bridgett Stockwell.
Police say Gault’s lights and sirens were on when he ran a red light at 8th and South Central Avenue.
The citation carries a $260 fine. No one was seriously injured in that crash.
