Medford, Ore. — 2Hawk Winery in Medford is expanding. The owners of the vineyard and winery broke ground Wednesday on a new 14,000 square foot facility which will allow them to start producing their wines on-site.
“This is going to allow us to take that exceptional fruit to our own facility, that’s going to be outfitted with exceptional equipment in order to really produce exceptional wines,” Ross Allen says.
The building will be almost entirely solar-powered with other energy and water efficiency features. They hope to have the facility up and running for the 2016 harvest.
