Medford, Ore.– A flood at the Medford YMCA will keep the pool closed into next week. On Wednesday water was found in the facility’s electrical room, caused the maintenance crew at the “Y” to shut off power to the building.
Because of that, all services besides child care were unavailable. While staff continues to figure out exactly what caused the flood, the “Y” was able to reopen their doors on Thursday, with the exception of the pool.
Staff says they should know more about when the pool is able to reopen by next Tuesday.
