Jackson County, Ore. – Jackson County Vector Control said they’re planning on conducting mosquito control applications on certain routes in Jackson County in the early morning hours of May 10.
Vector Control’s main mission is to prevent mosquito-borne disease transmission.
They’ll be using “Deltaguard” insecticide to target adult mosquitoes.
Vector Control points out they will not be treating the all the areas covered in red, just portions of these areas with service requests or high numbers.
The applications should take place sometime between 3:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m.
