Oregon special education teacher arrested for meth, heroin possession

Milwaukie, Ore. – A Clackamas County middle school teacher was arrested for possession of meth and heroin.

According to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, school officials called police from Alder Creek Middle School on the morning of March 14.

The school reported one of their teachers was behaving strangely, repeatedly going back and forth between the school and her parked vehicle. Officials also said they saw what looked like drug paraphernalia in the teacher’s car.

Deputies said when they arrived at the school they were directed by school officials to contact 33-year-old special education teacher Brynne Marie Fletcher.

Fletcher was arrested for possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine.

The school district told police Fletcher had been employed at the school since August of 2014. She had recently turned in a letter indicating she would resign at the end of the current school year.

The district said Fletcher will be placed on administrative leave following the incident.
